Ulaanbaatar is the capital of Mongolia. And the largest city of the country. It is located in a valley on the Tuul River. It is a pretty high city, like 1300-1350 meters high. Ulaanbaatar knows as the coldest capital in the world. The emblem of the city is Garuda, humanoid bird.

The costs are changing between 2$ and 100$. Mostly, there are cheap restaurants.

The costs are changing between 10-15$ and 250-260$ per night.

Where can we eat?

The Green Zone: Cute place to breakfast. The atmosphere is fresh and those special cakes are really tasty. Take a sit and enjoy your special meal.

Millie’s Cafe: It’s Mexican, and maybe it’s European too! You will find what you want. Great place to lunch.

Bon Bon Bakery & Dessert: Bon Bon is a great place. It has tasty sandwiches and some pizzas. And of course, the desserts! Yeah, it’s dessert time! Hands up.

Veranda: Good location and cozy air. You should eat something here. The time is Mediterranean dinner time! Maybe a little romantic…

What about the transport?
The city transportation is really cheap. The bus tickets are about 1$ or less. But the buses are full of people. You can take a cab, for short distances.

What will we do?

National History Museum: Great museum with full of history! It’s about the history of Mongol Empire, it’s about the history of Orkhon inscriptions… Entry fees:

Family: 3$, Couple: 2$

Genghis Khan Square: It’s in the middle of the town. It has a great statue. Genghis Khan, the founder of the old Mongol Empire.

976 Art Gallery: It’s about the traditional artists. It’s a little gallery, but it’s so impressive. And, free entry!!!
